Museums for All

Filoli is proud to participate in Museums for All , offering free and reduced admission to any holder of a SNAP EBT (CalFresh) card with a valid matching driver's license or identification card. The cardholder must be present. Please email tickets@filoli.org to reserve your admission with Museums for All.

P-EBT cards and Medi-Cal are not covered under Museums for All.

Know Before You Go

Hours & Parking

Filoli is open daily from 10am to 5pm, with extended hours for select special events. Trails close one hour early to allow guests time to return before the estate closes.
Parking at Filoli is included with your ticket. The parking lot closes 30 minutes after the end of your ticketed time or event. To help preserve the environment and ensure parking is available for all guests, we strongly encourage carpooling whenever possible.

Service Animals & Pets

Tickets

We recommend all guests - including members - reserve tickets in advance, as weekends, holidays, and busy seasons may sell out.
Please check in during your selected one-hour window; this helps keep lines short and parking smooth for everyone.
General admission tickets may be rescheduled for a $10 fee. Special event tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Filoli is open rain or shine. We do not offer refunds due to weather, though we still look beautiful when it rains!
By purchasing a ticket, you agree that you may be photographed or filmed during your visit, and that your image may be used in Filoli’s promotional materials.

Food & Drink

Enjoy a variety of food and drinks, including beer, wine, and cocktails, available for purchase at our multiple Food & Beverage locations throughout the estate.
Outside alcohol is not permitted at Filoli.
Picnic benches are available near the main entrance for your convenience, but picnicking is not allowed inside the gardens or on the grounds. Please leave coolers and large picnic bags at home.

Photography

Filoli is a perfect place for photography—we love seeing your moments! Please tag us @filoliestate when you share.

Please enjoy the gardens from the pathways and help preserve the beauty by leaving plants, flower beds, displays, labels, and containers just as you found them.
Be mindful of fellow guests—photography should never block pathways, doorways, or high-traffic areas, and should not disrupt the experience for others.
To maintain a peaceful environment, we kindly ask that props and large photography equipment such as standalone flashes, lights, and reflectors are not used.
Wedding photography is reserved for couples celebrating with a Filoli Wedding Rental.
Tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are welcome in the gardens and natural lands.
Portrait photography for personal use is welcome, but commercial photography—such as images for advertising or promotional purposes—requires prior permission from Filoli.
Filoli may, at its discretion, limit or stop photography if it affects the safety, enjoyment, or preservation of the gardens and grounds.

What to Leave at Home

To keep Filoli safe, serene, and enjoyable for everyone, the following items and activities are not permitted:

Smoking or vaping
Pets (service animals are welcome)
Outside alcohol
Drones
Sports equipment (balls, frisbees, etc.—but feel free to enjoy our on-site badminton!)
Props for photography (like lights, reflectors, or furniture)
Balloons
Wagons
